The clerestory design floods the room with natural light and displays the large Cypress timbers overhead. The home’s Kitchen which is highlighted by a custom groin vault ceiling layered with nine tons of real Tennessee stone is the centerpiece of this level. It features multiple refrigerators, a wine cooler and a uniquely designed glass wall cabinet system. Another unique feature of the main level is a room specially designed for prayer and meditation. This peaceful space is designed to welcome in extensive natural light and exquisite views of the surrounding mountains.
Inspired by the client’s love of music and entertaining, the lower level of the home features a stage, theatre, gaming area and sound control booth. It is constructed with highly specialized sound limiting acoustic considerations. In keeping, the main floor above the entertaining space has a custom floor underlayment to reduce noise to the space below. Other unique features include a secret bookcase passageway and a hidden Wine Cellar. When enjoying the cool Tennessee mountain evenings guests can enjoy any one of the three custom indoor fireplaces or the one-of-kind outdoor fireplace located near the Spa and neighboring outdoor Kitchen.
