In December 2018, Hickory Construction completed work on the Knoxville Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a state-of-the-art 6,300-square-foot facility on Papermill Drive. The office officially opened for patients in January.
Hickory partnered with architect Thomas Ingram of Brewer Ingram Fuller, an architectural firm based in Knoxville, TN. Hickory planned a five-month construction duration and began work on the office in July 2017.
Going to the doctor—especially for surgery—can be stressful, and Dr. Nicole Eisenberg, DDS, wanted to find ways to ease that stress for her patients. She told Hickory that she wanted her office to have a homey feel to help patients feel more relaxed.
To make the office’s interior feel warmer and more inviting for patients than a typical medical office, Hickory built a custom fireplace in the waiting area and assisted with other interior design elements.
The office features French country design for the interior. French country design is an elegant aesthetic that uses warm, neutral tones and flowing, organic lines to create a calm, relaxed atmosphere.
The Knoxville Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery features three consultation areas, three surgeries, a conference room, a lab, training areas, and offices for business administration.
Having completed more than 35 dental facilities, Hickory is proud to be known as one of the premier dental contractors in East Tennessee.
