Ribbon cutting ceremonies in April marked the completion of two LEED projects by Hickory Construction.
Hickory Construction President, Burke Pinnell joined local and state leaders of the Tennessee National Guard in Chattanooga to celebrate the opening of the new Communications Training Complex of 241st Engineering & Installation Squadron.
The LEED Silver project features a 25,000 sq. ft. Communications Building for offices, training rooms and supply areas. A 6900 sq. ft. Vehicle Maintenance Building with maintenance bays, a wash bay, storage areas and support space. The complex also includes a 3000 sq. ft. covered parking facility.
Commercial Operation Vice President, Jim Pack was on hand to cut the ribbon on the new Melton Valley Maintenance Facility operated by Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The 26,000 square foot facility is a LEED Gold project.
