In The Construction Zone
- Hickory has begun construction on an addition and interior renovations to a west Knoxville home. The addition includes a new living room, guest bedroom suite, home theater and a screened porch complete with an outdoor kitchen.
- Construction is underway on a new three-bedroom mountain home located in Walland, Tennessee. The exterior will feature crab orchard stone and cedar shake siding.
- Hickory continues work on three LEED projects: a 26,000 sq. ft. LEED Gold maintenance support facility for Oak Ridge National Laboratory, a LEED Silver communications training complex for the 241st Engineering & Installation Squadron of the Tennessee Air National Guard in Chattanooga and a LEED Gold operations building for the 134th Air Refueling Wing of the Tennessee Air National Guard at McGhee Tyson Airbase.
- In April, Hickory was chosen one of three contractors to provide construction, maintenance and design-build services to Tennessee National Guard buildings and facilities in middle and east Tennessee. The Multiple Award Task Order Contract is a 5-year agreement with the U.S. Government.
