Sorority Village, University of Tennessee

Hickory made two more notable marks on the University of Tennessee campus by completing the construction of a pair of new sorority houses within the school’s Sorority Village development, bringing the total number of houses on the Morgan Hill site to 13 and helping wrap up the final phase of the overall project in 2014.

Designed by Knoxville-based Red Chair Architects, the 17,000-square-foot Alpha Omicron Pi house is a 49-bed, Old World/European-style house with brick and carved-stone detailing.

Designed by Studio Four, Inc. of Knoxville, the Phi Mu house is a 41-bed, two-story Georgian C-shaped brick house occupying 12,000 square feet.
